Shafa Natya Manch is a group of recovering addicts who after their successful treatment and after staying sober decides to propagate the concept of staying away from alcohol /drugs and live a healthy and productive lifestyle. At the same time as a part of our social obligation we reach out to various drug-prone areas and high risk masses with the concept of sobriety and addiction free society.
Recovering addicts after staying in recovery reach out to various sections of society through street plays, discussions and distribution of awareness material . They perform in various social issues. At the end when they say “ My name is---------- and I am a recovery addict with ____ years in recovery”, it is like putting the final nail. Non of addicts or families of addicts approach them for their problem of addiction. We have experienced that they are the best motivation in this field.
